Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Circus
Part I: Flying Trapeze (1 hour)
Run away to the circus with your love for an evening of a lifetime. Emerald City Trapeze will give you the opportunity to take the leap together as you experience Flying Trapeze for the first part of the night. No experience is required for our fun and adventurous evening of flying.
The Flying Trapeze portion begins with fifteen minutes of ground school, where you will learn all of the Trapeze basics and be fitted with one of our safety harnesses. Once you are comfortable, you will take your newfound skills and learn to fly! For the remaining time, our instructors will guide you through preparing for your first catch! This is your chance to feel the wind on your face as you fly through the air with the greatest of ease on Seattle’s only fully indoor and heated Trapeze rig. Let go of your inhibitions and trust that your date will hold the camera steady!
Part II: Acrobatics (1 hour)
Spice up your love life with Partner Acrobatics! Our instructor will guide you through various balancing techniques, positions, and exercises that will bring you two closer and more deeply in love. You might find that you have a few new moves for home! No experience or flexibility is required.
Part III: Catching (30 minutes)
Grab those cameras and bring on the cheering. At the very end of the evening, we will give those who have received a ‘cowbell’ the chance to try for a catch!
Circus Happy Hour & Flying Trapeze Performance
Take your love by the hand and ascend to our trapeze viewing balcony where you will each enjoy a free drink and delicious appetizers while watching our Flying Trapeze performers fly through the air! As you sip on your drink and nibble on savory and sweet treats, our Trapeze Artists will dazzle you with tricks, flips, and more!
Happy Hour Menu:
- Satay chicken skewers with a spicy peanut sauce | Bali-style chicken skewers with barbecue sauce and pineapple salsa | Teriyaki chicken skewers with wasabi ranch sauce
- An assortment of crisp vegetables with all of the favorites: celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes and creamy ranch for dipping
- Greek pita bread served with a delicious Greek olive mix, sliced fresh cucumber, creamy tzatziki sauce and smooth hummus
- Rich cubes of Cabot pepper jack, Stella provolone, smoked gouda, and Tillamook cheddar paired with fresh grapes
