NEW Intro to Hoop Classes
Mondays – (6:00PM – 7:30 PM) Introduction to Hoop – Level 1 *Starts May 21st*
Intro to hoop will build your strength and skills to prep you for Beginner Hoop – Level 2. This is for first time hoop/new students that will cover the basics of entering/exiting the hoop, inverting, knee-hangs, learning to spin. We start with a warm up and then conditioning exercises. You will learn the basics and gain a strong foundation for this apparatus.
Instructor: Julia Limoges
Julia is a Seattle-based performer with a passion for all things circus arts, dance, and acting with a degree from Foster School of Business to keep muggle appearances. Delighted to be a vessel for shape making and line drafting, her background as a ballet dancer lends her to both the bold and ethereal. She is motivated by the unique experience that is the exchange of live performance and is most content on stage delivering the gift of entertainment. Her inspiration comes from those who translate the friction of existence into the grace of creativity. She also loves sparkles and rainbow unicorns.
