Performance Camp at Emerald City Trapeze Arts
Times: Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm with After Care available 3pm-5pm
Prerequisites: No experience required!
Ages: 9-16
Dates: 7/8-7/12, 7/22-7/26, 8/5-8/9, 8/19-8/23
After a successful pilot summer last year, SANCA is offering an extensive day camp program at Emerald City Trapeze Arts for children and young adults ages 9 to 16! Performance Camp allows students to develop physical skills, increase confidence, build self-esteem and explore circus as a performance art. This camp is a great fit for young circus artists hoping to increase their performance capabilities and build additional Aerial Arts (Fabric, Rope and Lyra) and Flying Trapeze skills. While circus experience is not necessary, this camp will be a very active one and students can expect to dive deep into performance and theater skills. Each week will conclude with a Friday showcase that parents are encouraged to attend! The Friday Camp Showcase will give students a taste of how it feels to be in a genuine circus production and will take place on Emerald City Trapeze Art’s very own stage!
Circus Exploration Camp at Emerald City Trapeze Arts

SANCA is offering a brand new extensive day camp program at Emerald City Trapeze Arts for children and young adults ages 9 to 16! The core of Circus Exploration Camp is to invite preteens and teens to the magical world of circus, without the pressures of taking their skills to the stage. Circus Exploration Camp allows students to develop physical skills, build confidence, explore their own uniqueness, and expand their creative capabilities. We will explore various Aerial Arts (Fabric, Rope and Lyra), experience the exhilaration of Flying Trapeze, and develop ground and balance skills. This camp is a great fit for budding circus artists as well as experienced young circus artists hoping to deepen their general circus practice. Each week will feature a casual demonstration that parents are welcome to attend!
