Join SANCA’s youth troupe, Celestial Circus, in “Beyond the Moon,” a circus extravaganza where ancient legend meets contemporary spectacle. Inspired by the legend of Chang’e, the Moon Goddess, this breathtaking show blends awe-inspiring acrobatics, ethereal aerial arts, and graceful dance to illuminate her journey through love, loss, and enchantment. “Beyond the Moon” invites audiences to embark on a celestial odyssey where the boundaries between myth and reality blur, leaving spirits touched by the magic of the moon.
Celestial Circus, is a performance troupe at SANCA that is dedicated to serving teens with historically underserved identities. Meeting weekly, it instills resiliency, self-esteem, and community building by providing an accessible program that removes economic barriers, and encourages students to lead, express creativity, and create meaningful, inspiring performances that reflect their collective ideas and values.
