Located in the historic SODO district of Seattle, Emerald City Trapeze Arts boasts nearly 20,000 square feet of functional, flexible, and visually stunning gathering space. With a rustic charm all its own, the beautiful post-and-beam interior transforms from its day-to-day school format into a dazzling setting for conferences, corporate parties, or weddings. 

In addition to our two, separate, ground-level spaces, clients are captivated by our unique, rough-hewn wood mezzanine balcony, overlooking the main floor and spacious 600-square-foot performance stage.

Rates & Spaces

Emerald City Trapeze offers a wide range of packages to bring your event to life. With several different spaces and optional add-ons such as trapeze and aerial performances, bar service, and custom lighting and design, the possibilities are endless.

All Rentals Include:

  • Access to a world-class, unique, historic venue
  • Complimentary tour prior to booking
  • An on-site venue representative for the duration of your event
  • Mic for toasts & ability to connect an iPod/Phone for music
  • One lighting look for the space
  • Four gender-neutral restrooms
  • Heat, WiFi, and waste bins
  • ADA accessibility (excluding the balcony and stage)

Main Space: A-Side + Balcony

In addition to the amenities that come with all rentals, this option includes:

  • Exclusive access to viewing balcony, mezzanine bar, and main bar
  • Professional 600-square-foot stage 
  • Standard white lighting + string lights under the balconies
  • Room for ~250 seated / 600 cocktail-style

Main Space: A-Side + Balcony

  • Morning Rate (8:00am – 2:00pm) – $5600
  • Evening Rate (Sunday – Wednesday)  (3:00pm – midnight) – $5600
  • Peak Evening Rate (Thursday – Saturday) (3:00pm – midnight) – $7000

B-Side Aerial Studio

In addition to the amenities that come with all rentals, this option includes:

  • Use of mobile bar with the selection of one of our bar packages
  • Room for ~200 seated / 350 cocktail-style

B-Side Aerial Studio

  • Morning Rate (8:00am – 2:00pm) – $4000
  • Evening Rate (3:00pm – midnight) – $6000

Additional Fees

  • Venue Manager: All events require a venue manager be present ($50 charge per hour of venue access).
  • Add Extra Time: Venue access for additional hours of set-up and clean-up $300 per hour.
  • AV Tech: If any performance is booked, there is a $475.00 fee applied for an AV tech. Multiple performances can be added for this same fee. Only 1 AV tech is needed per event.
  • Green Room: The green room can be added for $300. The location of this green room will depend on the other components of the event packaged, but discussed prior to the event date.
  • Trapeze Net Up / Down: Putting the net up or taking it down during event is $450.00.
  • Large Events: Large events or events with full dinner may require a partial rental of B-side for a service section. There is a $1000 fee if this is required. This fee does not allow guests access to B-side, but is used for catering and event staff only. If the event requires B-side access for guests/outside vendors, the full rental fee must be paid.

World-Class Aerial and Acrobatic Entertainment

The Flying Trapeze Show: $2400
Imagine surprising your guests with a show! Our world-class flyers and catcher will dazzle your guests with high-flying tricks, flips, and daring acts! This adrenaline-packed show features artists in full costume and makeup and includes custom MC, lighting & show music! Includes a team of 4 flyers and 1 catcher! (15-20 minute show)

Learn to Fly: $1500
Give your guests the opportunity to try Flying Trapeze! No experience is necessary. Includes 6 instructors and a 1 hour Learn to Fly session.

Aerial Ambience Performance Package: $2400/hour | $1500/30 minutes
Create a true show atmosphere with a performance by our amazing aerialists. Leave all the decisions up to us, or create a customized act just for your event! You can weigh in on the artistry (theme, music, and costume) and apparatus (Cyr Wheel can be added to replace one of the aerialists).

Roaming Character: $900 per hour
Add a dash of excitement to your dinner or cocktail hour with a roaming character, magic, stilting, flow arts, juggling, contort, solo or partner acrobatics! This rate includes one artist for one hour of entertainment. 

Aerial Champagne Pour: $2400/hour
Elevate your event with champagne poured from the sky by an aerialist!

Mainstage / Full focus Acts: By Arrangement Only – Starting at $1800
Choose from Solo Static Aerial, Cloud Swing, Duo Aerial, Partner Acrobatics, and Cyr Wheel!
