TEATRO ZINZANNI

For over 25 years, Teatro ZinZanni has been a cornerstone of Seattle’s performing arts community, and we are very pleased to be a part of the next chapter. The residency will run from October 3rd through April 12th, with performances on B-Side four or five nights a week.

If you were with us last winter, you’ve experienced the partnership: an iconic, world-class circus dinner theater fills B side with spectacle and song, bringing over 4000 guests into our space while our circus classes continue to buzz and bustle on A side.

FAQ

✨  How do I sign up for classes?

Teatro ZinZanni is sharing a facility with one of Seattle’s premier circus schools! Please visit SANCA’s online booking platform to sign up for your own circus experience. We offer classes for all ages! No experience is required for many of our classes.

✨  How will the show impact my classes?

The flying trapeze programming will continue largely as-is, and so will our other circus classes at non-showtimes. During show times, as many classes as possible will continue to run but in new locations — either at Georgetown or on ECTA’s stage and other available spaces. Check the class schedule or give us a call if you want information about a specific class.

How do I enter during show times if I have a class?

The front door is open for show guests and students! Come on in and check in with the front desk as usual.

THE TALE OF TEATRO ZINZANNI

For over 26 years, Teatro ZinZanni has welcomed audiences to intimately staged productions featuring over-the-top theatrics paired with lavish food and drink. While each Teatro ZinZanni is unique, the recipe is consistent: a dash of circus, a hint of Vaudeville, a whisper of cabaret, finished with Teatro ZinZanni’s signature, not-so-secret ingredient: love.

Founded in Seattle in 1998, Teatro ZinZanni’s productions unite the immeasurable talents of the best in cirque, music, comedy, magic, and entertainment. Each Teatro ZinZanni performance is distinctly interactive and playful; to attend Teatro ZinZanni is to be a part of Teatro ZinZanni. While attendees are encouraged to wear formal attire, they are also encouraged to embrace their wild, informal tendencies. As of today, Teatro ZinZanni has entertained over 2 million guests and staged more than 120 distinctive, original productions, with the majority of these productions presented within an antique Belgian mirror tent, known as the Spiegeltent. In 2000, Teatro ZinZanni expanded to San Francisco, and in July 2019, Teatro ZinZanni opened in the heart of Chicago’s Theater District.

A venerable institution that continually flips the script, Teatro ZinZanni is synonymous with a perfect night out—a sentiment shared by USA Today, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, and nearly every Seattle media outlet.
