About Deon Fox:
My name is Deon Fox and I am coming to you from Las Vegas, when I started circus I already had invested 14 into Gymnastics and Dance, I found circus in 2018 as a 23-year-old living in Seattle Washington, while working as an engineer. Upon taking my first circus class I knew my life was changed. I instantly fell in love and knew I had to share the love with others which got me interested in coaching. I had been coaching various sports including gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, and track and field for 10 years up until then, thus giving me an arsenal of techniques to adapt to aerial. I specialize in Rope and straps, while also having technical training and knowledge in aerial silks and aerial pole. My mantra is, love what you do and do what you love which is why I am excited to teach and work with new students of all levels. I have been seen on stage with Teatro ZinZanni, Emerald City Trapeze, Rose City Circus, Lady Raven Productions, and toured with Troupe Vertigo.
**Fruit Roll-Up Workshop**
Friday, July 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Have you seen people seemingly defying gravity moving upward seemingly with little effort and wondered… HOW!? If so this workshop is for you, JOIN ME for fruit roll up where we will explore cshaping and how to use cross apparatus training to obtain your goals of defying gravity. We will start with floorial drills, progressing to hammock drills, and finally to vertical rolling. With this we will also be covering various mobility and strength drills to help you safely obtain your goals. Skills focused on include hipkey rollup, single coil and variations, back balance, switches, and roll downs.
Requirements: Previous experience on vertical apparatus required

**Letting Go Workshop**
Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Have you mastered the basic beats and wondering how to incorporate them into transitions and sequences? This workshop is catered to helping participants learn how to utilize beats to create sequences and face your fears with slack drags, half releases, and full releases. Partially dependent on participant level and interest. Get ready to learn to safely fall, and progress to letting go higher up on your apparatus.
This workshop will be primarily focused on aerial rope.
Requirements: Familiarity with beats on vertical apparatus required

**Yin and Yang – Dynamics and Musicality**

To perform an entire dynamic act is exhausting, learn how to utilize dynamics to create surprises in your choreography to keep the audience on their toes and interested in what you’re doing. Utilizing musical connection with your movement to enhance the audience connection and experience of what you are expressing.
