We are thrilled to announce “Madame Mars’ Mystic Society: A Mardi Gras Spectacular,” scheduled for Saturday, February 10th. This marks the return of Emerald City Trapeze Arts’ signature professional Mardi Gras show! Tickets are available here! 

Notably, this year’s show will be co-directed by The Shanghai Pearl and Caela Bailey!

The Shanghai Pearl is an internationally celebrated burlesque and cabaret artist, performer, and producer.

Caela Bailey, the creator of Gutter Queen Productions, is a highly acclaimed vocalist, performer, and producer of Moisture Festivals Libertease Burlesque.

Key Dates:

• Tech Rehearsal: January 31st

• Dress Rehearsal/Media Night: February 7th

• Main Performance: February 10th

Performers may be asked to participate in 1-2 ensemble rehearsals in the week leading up to the show.

Theme:

We invite performers to be inspired by the rich traditions and histories of Mardi Gras, New Orleans, Mystic Societies, Krewes, and the rich archetypes and icons found in the Major and Minor Arcana.

Performance Expectations:

We encourage performers not only to showcase their individual acts but also to immerse themselves in the ambiance and ensemble work of the production. We will work as collaboratively as possible to create a fun and interactive experience for our audience.
