Protege Show | SoDo Story – September 24th

Audition Information

Auditions will take place on July 31st for both aerialists and flyers. Sign-ups for Protege auditions will be available at the front desk beginning July 10th.

  • Rehearsal Dates & Times 
    • August 2nd – September 13th
    • Sundays 7:00-9:00pm & Tuesdays 5:30-7:30pm
    • Please note: There will be no rehearsal on Labor Day Sunday, September 4th
    • Tech and Dress Rehearsal will take place in the week leading up to the show
  • Rate: $960

Aerial Information:

    • Thursday, August 4th – Sunday, September 18th
    • Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm, Sundays 3:00-5:00pm
    • Please note: There will be no rehearsal on Labor Day Saturday, September 3rd
    • Tech and Dress Rehearsal will take place in the week leading up to the show
  • Rate: $585

For Aerialists: Sunday, July 31st Auditions

  • Auditions will take place from 5:00-7:00pm
  • Aerialists may arrive a half hour beforehand to warm up
  • Prepare a 90 second solo on your apparatus that is inspired by West Side Story

For Flyers: Sunday, July 31st Auditions

  • Auditions will take place from 7:00pm-9:00pm. 
  • Flyers may arrive a half hour beforehand to warm up. 
  • To audition, flyers should be able to remount the board without safety lines and be working on a flyout; they should have returned one trick to the board more than once, and they should have caught two tricks out of safety lines. They should have a dismount that is close to being out of safety lines, if not out of safety lines already. In addition, all flyers should be comfortable working on the board, including having basic knowledge of bar dropping and assisting others as they remount on the board. Finally, flyers will need to be comfortable pushing out of their comfort zone.
