Intermediate/Advanced Lyra Workshop with Megan Stockman

Aerialists will work on dynamics, spins and hangs on lyra. Dynamics such as hip circles, elbow circles, and drops. Spins such as accelerations, pumps, and utilizing the ground for momentum. Hangs such as neck, heel, foot, and elbow hang. This workshop is focused on the flashy moves on lyra!

About Megan Stockman

Megan Stockman is here for the weekend! She is a dancer and aerialist based out of Kansas City. She has been choreographing and performing with Quixotic since 2009. Trained as a dancer, she uses her technique and artistry in the air. She is constantly training in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, lyra, trapeze, and on custom apparatuses. Teaching experience includes: Kansas University, Kansas State University, Wanderlust Yoga Festival, and Quixotic School of Performing Arts.
